Burt began with a simple ambition: to design something entirely my own, and to make it well enough to last.

The idea took shape in February 2025, during a family trip to Iceland. [1–2 Sätze: was dort passiert ist.] I had no background in product design, only years of collecting watches and a clear sense of what I could not find: a place to keep them that matched the care put into the watches themselves.

The finished piece is only part of it. What matters to me just as much is everything in between, from the first sketch in a notebook to the moment it arrives at your door.

Burt is not made for everyone. It is made for people who notice the stitching, the weight of a lid, the way a material ages, and who value the work behind it.

And if it leads to conversations with fellow collectors along the way, that means more to me than any sale.
